The LS All Sports Boosters Club is a volunteer organization that raises money for all of the LS sports teams, clubs and intramurals. We are currently recruiting for 7 open positions for the 2021-2022 School Year. We are looking for a President, Vice President, Golf Fundraiser Co-Chair, Fall Sports Fundraiser Chair and 3 Open Board Positions. The President is responsible for leading the Executive Committee and overseeing the operations of the Board. The President is the liaison between the Board and the Athletic Director for the purposes of event/fundraising planning, requests and expenditures, long term planning, and general communication. With the support and input from the VP, Secretary, and Treasurer, the President creates the meeting agenda, leads all meetings, and, after consideration from the board, makes final decisions and/or calls for a Board vote.
The Vice President supports the President to oversee all board business. The VP supports the President to run meetings in their absence and participates on committees, as needed.
Golf Fundraiser Co-Chair
The Golf Fundraiser Co-Chair will help coordinate the annual May Golf Classic, the biggest Boosters community- based fundraiser of the year. It’s an established event with a current Co-Chair and committee in place. Responsibilities include monthly board meetings and planning the annual May golf event.
Fall Fundraiser Chair
The Fall Fundraiser Chair will coordinate and lead a fall fundraiser. While historically we have hosted an annual Ski and Sports Sale Fundraiser in September, our fundraising strengths are the innovative ideas from board members so alternative initiatives are also welcome for discussion.
3 Open Board Positions
We are also seeking 3 Open Board Positions. This would be an opportunity to join an energetic Board that supports the LS Athletic Program.
