Welcome Back, Cougars!
8/28/2025 8:49 pm
Welcome to the 2025-2026 school year!
The CPO would like to extend a warm, back-to-school welcome to the Curtis community! We'd like to send a special welcome to all incoming 6th grade and new-to-Curtis families. We hope everyone had a wonderful summer, and we're looking forward to the 2025-2026 school year.
The Curtis CPO Messenger is a bimonthly newsletter that keeps everyone informed about what is happening within the Curtis community. The CPO supports many aspects of the educational experience at Curtis and works hard to bring educational enrichment programs, student events, and staff appreciation events to the school and to support funding needs such as technology, outdoor activities, and more. Please share this newsletter with others who are new to Curtis and encourage them to sign up through Membership Toolkit in Account Subscriptions.
Everyone is a part of the CPO. There is no separate membership process or cost to join. If you would like to learn more ways you can support the school through CPO initiatives, please reach out to board@curtiscpo.org.

Fall Sports Sign-Up
8/27/2025 7:50 pm
A reminder from Principal Mela:
Online sign-up for fall sports 2025 is now available for 7th and 8th graders until Sept 5, 2025! Click here to register. All registrations MUST be approved by our Health Office before a student can participate in a sport. Please make sure that your child has a current physical. This is mandated by the state, and current physicals are valid for 13 months from the issue date. There are no exceptions to this rule. A student-athlete will not be able to participate and/or try out for a fall sport until a current physical is included in the registration. Please do not wait until the last minute to register your child. If your child changes their mind, please let us know.
Game and tryout schedules can be found at the ECMS Athletics website. We are offering: 7th/8th-grade girls' soccer, 7th/8th-grade boys' soccer, 7th/8th-grade girls' field hockey, 7th/8th-grade boys' and girls' cross country, and 7th/8th-grade co-ed intramural volleyball. These are all travel teams except for intramural volleyball. Registration is currently open and will remain open until September 5, 2025. For teams that require tryouts. The ECMS Athletics website provides details on all of the sports that we offer, schedules, as well as tryout dates (for teams that require tryouts) and practice times. If you have questions regarding the fall sports that are offered, please contact David Jurewicz.

Earn Money for the CPO
10/9/2024 3:41 am
The CPO earns money by filling the textile bins located in the Curtis parking lot. A check is sent to the CPO based upon the weight of the monthly donations.
The company takes footwear, clothing, linens, and stuffed animals. When cleaning out, bring those bags of textiles to the bins to earn money for the CPO! Please remember to bag your donations.
