12/1/2025 8:31 pm
The beloved tradition of the holiday treat sampler is coming up on December 10th! Please help us create a beautiful treat sampler for the Curtis teachers and staff who work so hard to teach and support our kids. It is a wonderful tradition, and we need many hands to make it a success! Please see the signup genius for more details. We need over 100 bakers and volunteers to make it a success. Please contact cathy.f.peterson@gmail.com with any questions.
The Book Fair Is Coming
12/1/2025 7:03 pm
The CPO is bringing the Scholastic Book Fair to Curtis from December 8th-12th!
You can set up an eWallet in advance so that your student can shop at the Book Fair without having to bring cash to school. You can also preview books on the Scholastic site now and shop online during Book Fair week. A portion of all sales will go directly to the school library so that our wonderful librarians can add to Curtis's collections.
We still need a few parent volunteers to help with checkout during the Book Fair. Sign up for a slot here.

Giving Tuesday: The CPO Annual Fund
12/1/2025 6:00 pm
This Giving Tuesday, please consider a tax-deductible donation to the CPO to help support cultural, creative, and educational programming at Curtis.
The CPO supports a variety of programs and initiatives, including buying backpacks for the 8th grade D.C. trip, sponsoring annual enrichment workshops such as Urban Improv's Rehearsal for Life, providing financial assistance to students to attend school trips and social events, the tile project, and much more.

This is all possible because of the generosity of the Curtis community. Your donations go directly to work for the students and for the school, improving your child’s learning experience.

Please support the CPO with a tax-deductible donation! We encourage a $100 donation but welcome any amount. Also, check if your company offers a match to your donation.
Please note that donation acknowledgment letters will be provided by request only. If you require a letter for tax purposes, please email a request to cpotreasurer@gmail.com.
