Thank You, Cookie Sampler Volunteers!
12/15/2025 5:38 pm
Thank you to the 100+ families who made the Curtis Cookie Sampler teacher appreciation event a success! We appreciate everyone who baked, bought, and donated as well as those who collected, delivered, and organized cookies. This event is a staff favorite, and it’s amazing to see the thousands of cookies that the Curtis community creates fill the cafeteria. We'd like to send a special thank you to the Teacher Appreciation & Hospitality team, especially Cathy Peterson, who led planning for the holiday cookie sampler event.

Thank You, Book Fair Volunteers!

The Book Fair was a smashing success this year! We raised $2800 in Scholastic dollar rewards, which can be used to purchase library books and to fund CPO-sponsored programs. As a reminder, if you have any funds left in your eWallet, you can still spend them online -- they aren't lost, and we'll continue to earn credits on sales until December 21st.
Thank you to all of our Book Fair volunteers for helping out last week! We'd like to send a special thank you to Surene Pretorius, Scott Peterson, and to our Book Fair lead Nicole Mody for all of their hard work on this event.

Curtis is hosting a winter hat and mitten drive to benefit local children and adults/seniors. The drive is being organized by the Curtis Angels. The drive starts on Monday, December 8th and runs through Friday, December 19th. Items collected will be donated to the Sudbury Community Coat Closet located at the Memorial Congregational Church.
For health reasons, hat and mitten donations should be new. A collection bin for donations is located in the Curtis lobby. If you have questions, please contact Curtis Angels Advisor Ivar Henningson.
Thank you for your support!

The CPO earns money by filling the textile bins located in the Curtis parking lot. A check is sent to the CPO based upon the weight of the monthly donations.
The company takes footwear, clothing, linens, and stuffed animals. When cleaning out, bring those bags of textiles to the bins to earn money for the CPO! Please remember to bag your donations.

Support the Curtis Annual Fund
8/1/2025 7:08 pm
As we approach the holiday season, please consider a tax-deductible donation to the CPO to help support cultural, creative, and educational programming at Curtis. The CPO supports a variety of programs and initiatives, including cultural enrichment, student scholarships, student social events, end-of-year activities, classroom curriculum aids for teachers, UA supplies, recess equipment, teacher appreciation events, the tile project in the school hallways, outdoor beautification projects, and much more! These are all important additions to the Curtis community and they truly improve the students’ experience at Curtis Middle School.
This is all possible because of the generosity of the Curtis community. Your money goes directly to work for the students and for the school, improving your child’s learning experience.
Donations can be made online. Please check if your company offers a match to your donation.
Please note that donation acknowledgment letters will be provided by request only. If you require a letter for tax purposes, please email a request to cpotreasurer@gmail.com.
